Clients often ask how I am going to help them improve their business dramatically. I have a three-step approach.
- Interview key people. The goal is to learn more about the business, what is working, what’s not working, their challenges and frustrations.
- Diagnose current situation. The output of this step is identification of key issues which need to be addressed. This step involves site visits, observation, and review of performance.
- Develop customized solutions. Through collaboration with my client, we develop practical solutions. Collaboration is important for two reasons. One is to get their support and buy-in; second is speed in implementation.
In closing, it is the interview, the diagnostics and the development of customized solutions that enable me help my clients improve their results dramatically.
